#146 - 1/6 Dag "Serious Sisters" ID'd .

Are these girls that serious? Or are they just experiencing a very serious occasion? Their matching dresses with lace collars were probably made just for this picture and to be worn for "best". Elder sister will be a beauty - look at those eyes. Younger sister too is a nice looking child who knows she must sit still.

A thoroughly charming image which makes me want to know more about these girls. Ah-if only.

This is a 1/6 dag in a full case. Original hinge, which is tearing top and bottom. Needs careful handling.

Written in pencil, in old time script. M---- & Kate Cotton, Cl-remont, S(?). H. (I don't do a good job of translating writing.)

There is red velvet inside the cover. Looks as if someone has pasted a picture there at one time. Now only some glue is left.

The seals appear to be original.

Price is 375.00 Delivered USA. As always return privileges.
