#183 - 24 Kodak Picture, Mining and Ranching "

Here are 24 Kodak Images, each with a 3 1/2 inch diameter photo in the center of 4 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch stock. These came in use about 1888 with a 2 1/2 inch center, and these larger ones followed quickly. You bought the camera with film for 100 images, took the pictures, and sent the camera back to Kodak for processing and reloading.

These are from a mining camp and ranch lay-out. A great slice of western life at the end of the nineteenth century. It shows inside the mine, a chinese cook, a couple of images of the blacksmith shop, around the ranch, and horseplay among the inmates.

I don't know where these were taken. I will leave that up to you guys. However you seldom find a group of images such as these.

Condition..........Great. No bumps, gold edges intact. No sign of handling. Bright and Clean.

Price 3500.00 and that includes shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
